What in the World is A Pocket Letter?

Another art tribe I'm playing with is Lunagirl Moonbeams. They post weekly and monthly theme challenges that keep the creative juices flowing. They also have a group on Facebook that I'm a member of. That's where I got into the pocket letter swap. Had never heard of pocket letters until this swap. Apparently it is a new craze started by California artist Janette Lane. She came up with the idea for a creative way to send letters to her penpals.

You use a nine-pocket baseball card sleeve and fill each pocket with goodies and notes. When you've filled all the pockets you tri-fold the sleeve and it fits into a standard size 10 envelope. Pretty cool idea! The theme for the Lunagirl swap was Fabulous Faces. So here's my completed pocket letter which will go off to my partner tomorrow. It was loads of fun to put together.
