Cheryl Richards: The Lamp

Creating digital art using the image I posted last: The Lamp. I must have looked at this photo a dozen times and thought: "What the heck am I going to do with this?" I started playing with the filters, but those are so obvious. Most of the really cool tricks and professional looking results I've achieved are from combining features in Photoshop. Here's my digital art rendering of The Lamp.

Instead of using a filter I went to the Image > Adjustments menu and started playing. I clicked on Equalize. There are no options for Equalize, it just kicks in. I liked the results of Equalize, so I went on to Posterize. Posterize gave me a slider option for levels. I played with the slider and settled for 4 levels. This is the result. Pretty wild huh? Psychedelic man!
