A Photographic Accident

I must admit this photograph baffles me. I have no idea what it is. It was among a batch of photos I took on a trip to Augusta, Ky. I have looked and looked at it. Studied it. And can not figure out what it is.

I'm sure my finger accidentally slipped at some point. Never the less, the more I studied the picture the more I was fascinated. It looks like an alien cube disintegrating under water. Or a TV exploding. Or the beginning of a carving on the side of a block of granite.
